Day 1:

One of our Roomsbook agents will welcome you at the Bandaranaike International Airport. From the airport you will be escorted to Suriya Resort in Negombo which is a few minutes’ drive from the airport. A Beautiful Hotel in the west coast facing the Indian Ocean at the sea side.

Negombo offers one of the best beaches on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Dutch fort built in 1672, as well as centuries-old Portuguese and Dutch houses, administrative buildings, churches and the ceiling frescoes of St. Mary's Cathedral are worth seeing. There are local handicrafts, batiks and jewellery boutiques on the beaches and the shops. You can relax and enjoy strolling along the beach and making new friends and clicking picture. Spend the night with a great meal combined with Sri Lankan Cuisine.

Day 2:

After enjoying very relaxed sleep you can join the Suriya Resort breakfast buffet. With a full stomach and full of excitement we will start our Journey towards magnificent Sigiriya Rock fortress which is around 145km away from Suriya Resort. On the way you’ll be able to taste Sri Lankan fruits offered by our crew.

After the long journey we rest at the Hotel Cinnamon Lodge Habarana, just 6 km away from Sigiriya Rock fortress. You can have lunch and get ready for the climb. If you have a good camera don’t forget to bring it. Around 3.00p.m we start the climb. Sigiriya is the 8th wonder of the world, we will watch the sunset on the Sigiriya rock and around 7.00pm we reach the hotel for a nice dinner and a relaxing sleep.

Day 3:

After Breakfast at Cinnamon Lodge Habarana we go to see Dambulla Cave Temple which is just 20km away. It is also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings and four statues of gods and goddesses. Then start the rest of the journey towards Kandy. On the way to Kandy We pass Matale. Around Matale you’ll get to see lots of spice gardens and we will take you to one of the spice gardens. Also we have lunch in the garden.

After couple minutes’ drive we reach Mariamman Hindu Temple. By the evening we reach the hotel Queens Hotel Kandy, A hotel with a great view of the city Kandy.

Day 4:

After a quiet Sleep you’ll be served with breakfast from Queens Hotel Kandy. Slowly we start for the sight-seeing in Kandy. That includes visit to Temple of the tooth Relic, Kandy Lake, Peradeniya Botanical Garden and in the evening cultural dance show. Temple of the tooth Relic is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple. Botanical garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres then we reach Queens Hotel Kandy for dinner and for a quiet sleep after lots of activities of the day.

Day 5:

With Breakfast at Queens Hotel Kandy we start the journey towards a Tea factory. Having the opportunity to see how the tea plantations works and how we reach great tea at our homes, we also let you taste some of the best flavors. Afterwards we start towards Pinnawala to watch Elephants at Elephant Orphanage. While watching Elephants take bath we can enjoy the lunch. There are some interesting shopping items which you can check in this area according to your taste. Last night of the journey you’ll be resting at Elephant Bay Hotel.

Day 6:

After taking Breakfast we will reach the airport.

Departure will take place according to your flight timings. We say “good bye” and wish for a safe flight!
