DAY 1:

With the welcome at the airport we will take you to Elephant Bay Hotel Pinnawala. Hotel is situated in front of the river MA OYA, which is also a place for Elephant bath of Elephants of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. More than 40 elephants take bath at a time. It is established in 1975 with 4 baby elephants and currently it has more than 80 elephants.

This day we rest at the Hotel while taking the opportunity to enjoy a touch of Sri Lankan Ayurvedic massage.

Qualified Ayurvedic Massage Therapists will be at your service.

Day 2:

After having breakfast Breakfast from the Hotel we take you towards high mountain area. Today you will rest at Ramboda Falls Hotel. Before we reach the Hotel on the way we will take you for a visit at a tea plantation, There you will be able to have a fresh cup of tea while enjoying the surrounding, After lunch we will reach Ramboda Falls Hotel. Hotel is situated in front of the Ramboda waterfall. A Beautiful scenery, if interested can take bath in the waterfall.

Day 3:

After breakfast, Slowly we come down towards Kandy. First we will visit Royal Botanical garden in Peradeniya. Royal Botanical Garden Peradeniya, is about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River (the longest in Sri Lanka). It is renowned for its collection of orchids .The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres, at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall.

After having Lunch can enjoying the city of Kandy, walk around the lake until we gather for the Cultural dancing show in the evening The resting hotel will be Senani Hotel.

 

Day 4:

After breakfast at the Hotel we will take you to visit the temple of tooth relic and it’s Museum. Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a Buddhist temple in the city of Kandy, Sri Lanka. It is located in the royal palace complex of the former Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings and is a World Heritage Site mainly due to the temple.

You will enjoy a boat ride at the lake. Enjoy some time while shopping in Kandy. Rest at the Senani Hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5:

After breakfast we go towards Sigiriya. On the way around Matale you will be able to see many spice gardens. We will visit one of the Spice gardens. After having lunch. Around 3.00pm we reach the 8th wonder of the world, Sigiriya. It is an ancient rock fortress located in the central Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters high.

Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed World Heritage Site. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning. It is the most visited historic site in Sri Lanka. Very Interesting climb on the rock. We will watch the Sunset on the Sigiriya rock.

Day 6:

After Breakfast We will take you for a visit at Dambulla Cave Temple, which is also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla. It is a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. This site is situated 148 kilometres east of Colombo and 72 kilometres north of Kandy.

It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings.

Day 7:

After breakfast we leave for Polonnaruwa. Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993.This is one of the best planned archaeological relic sites in the country, standing testimony to the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom's first rulers. There we will visit ancient world’s Biggest monastic complex, “Alahana Pirivena”, Museum and the historical places and four Huge Buddha Statues.

Then rest at the Hotel Sudu Araliya. Dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 8:

After enjoying a relaxed sleep you will be served with breakfast from Hotel Sudu Araliya. Then we start towards Awukana Buddha Statue, which is a standing statue of the Buddha near Kekirawa in North Central Sri Lanka. The statue, which has a height of more than 40 feet, has been carved out of a large granite rock face during the 5th century.

In the afternoon reach Anuradhapura Palm Garden Village Hotel.

In the evening visit Jethawanaaramaya, Ruwanweli Maha Seya. Anuradhapura city, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries. The city lies 205 km north of the current capital Colombo in Sri Lanka's North Central Province, on the banks of the historic Malvathu Oya. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and one of the eight World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka.

Day 9:

After breakfast Continue to visit Anuradhapura City. Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, Samadhi Buddha Statue, Isurumuniya, ancient world`s biggest swimming pool, Guard stone, Moon stone, Twin ponds, etc.

In the evening we will visit Mihinthale monastic Complex which is a mountain peak in Sri Lanka. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site of a meeting between the Buddhist monk Mahinda and King Devanampiyatissa which inaugurated the presence of Buddhism in Sri Lanka. It is now a pilgrimage site, and the site of several religious monuments and abandoned structures. Once we reach the rock we can watch the beautiful sunset.

Day 10:

After breakfast we reach Marble Beach Air Force Resort, Trincomalee. One of the best & quiet beaches in Sri Lanka and highly recommended for a relaxed holiday. The themed cabanas, each boasting a distinct style, are full of character and provide comfort and a tranquility that is seldom found elsewhere. The Yacht Restaurant offers a delicious fresh seafood menu that includes both Sri Lankan and international dishes with a friendly Staff to serve you. This is going to be your Private beach for next three nights.

With the qualified practitioners Observation of Ayurveda, you will be given Ayurvedic Consultation and Treatments.

The treatments will start from the evening session and plan it for the next 2 days.

Day 11:

Beach rest and Ayurvedic Treatments. Breakfast & Dinner at Marble Beach Air Force Resort.

Beach rest and Ayurvedic Treatments. Breakfast & Dinner at Marble Beach Air Force Resort.

 

Day 13:

After relaxed three days we leave the Hotel after breakfast. Have a quick visit to Koneshwaram Temple and Fredric Fort. By the evening reach Negombo & Staying at Goldi Sands Hotel and continue to rest. Dinner at the hotel. This is the last night of the tour.

 

Day 14:

After taking Breakfast we will reach the airport.

Departure will take place according to your flight timings. We say “good bye” and wish for a safe flight!
